When the term 3D comes to mind most people tend to think of movies like “Friday the 13th part 3”, “Jaws 3-D” - or one more recent - “Spy Kids 3D: Game Over”. The technique they use to film these movies usually involves filming two images simultaneously, with two cameras positioned side by side and both filming at a 90 degree angle via mirrors. These cameras are used with identical technical characteristics and in perfect synchronization. When viewed in such a way that each eye sees its photographed counterpart, the viewers’ visual cortex will interpret the pair of images as a single three-dimensional image (often using silly blue and red glasses).

As technology has advanced over the years the term 3D actually refers to creating computer generated images and making them life-like or real. Our 3D studio at XS-Creations Inc. is fully equipped with the software used to create movies such as “Disney / Pixars Monsters Inc.” or “Cars”. Our staff also specializes in “Ultra Realism” (which is when a computer image looks like a real person or object) as well as “Architectural” (a computer generated image of a house, building, or a furnished room).

Building a 3D website isn’t the only thing that all this knowledge is good for. All of our 3D work is rendered in High-Definition. What this means is, the quality of the video or images we build is far greater then those you will find elsewhere on the internet. The Hi-Def class will allow us to implement into or build TV commercials, print posters… The possibilities are limitless.
